Amy Goldsmith RDN, LDN, Founded Kindred Nutrition in 2010. She has 18 years of experience as a dietitian and although she has worked with many realms of Medical Nutrition Therapy,  specializes in Eating Disorders and Sports Nutrition.  Amy's specialty in Eating Disorders initiated the   HOPE Consortium, helping people with Eating Disorders, which she co-founded with Dr. Albertson. As a sports nutritionist Amy assists with getting the client to peak performance by incorporating optimal nutrition before, during training, race time, and recovery.  

Amy has been featured in multiple media outlets and works directly with Frederick County Schools, Montgomery County Schools, Run Farther and Faster, The Frederick Steeplechasers, Odin Crossfit, Anytime Fitness, Multiple Swim Clubs & Division 1 Collegiate Athletes throughout the United States. 

Amy works with her team to incorporate state of the art equipment &  innovative programs that are backed by scientific evidence. We are a specialized nutrition private practice staffed by Registered and Licensed Dietitians. Our office integrates Yoga, Food Intolerance Testing, Resting Metabolic Rate Testing, Body Fat Testing, and Spectracell Laboratory Testing to assist our collaborating Medical teams with diagnostic markers that help define treatment plans.
Dawn Frick RDN,LDN joined Kindred Nutrition's team in the fall of 2015.  She joins us after graduating from the Sodexo Internship Program in combination with hundreds of hours shadowing  Dr. Gerard Mullin's (Johns Hopkins Gastroenterologist and author of "The Gut Balance Revolution") patients and assisted in their treatment. Dawn's interest and specialty is Gastroenterology, and she has helped design and implement our Healthy Gut's STAR program.  Dawn believes that food is medicine, and that the right nutrition and self-care can provide gut health, increased immunity, and assist with appropriate weight management.  In conjunction with her GI expertise, Dawn also works with Weight Management, Food Allergy, & and Automimmune clients and completed the Certificate of Training in Adult Weight Management by the Commission of Dietetic Registration in March 2017. 
Lismarie Hernandez MS, RDN, LDN joined Kindred Nutrition in the Fall of 2016. A graduate of the University of Maryland with degrees in Psychology and Dietetics, Lismarie also recently completed a Master’s degree in Dietetics from the University of Rhode Island. At Kindred Lisa specializes in Diabetes, General Sports Nutrition and Weight Management. Lisa is bilingual and counsels in English and Spanish. She also leads our Grocery Store Tours and our 6 Week Weight Loss Program. Lismarie is an avid triathlete, currently training for her next event. In addition to training for her latest event, Lisa completed the Certificate of Training in Adult Weight Management by the Commission of Dietetic Registration in March 2017. 
Please welcome Rebecca Ridenour RDN. LDN.  Rebecca is the newest addition to Kindred Nutrition. She comes to us with six years of experience in the nutrition and wellness field and will be joining Amy with our BRAVE patients, specializing in Eating Disorders. Rebecca will also work with Chronic Kidney Disease Patients Stages 1-3. Rebecca leads our BRAVE ED teen & young adults class, our CORE Weight Management Support Class and collaborates with Amy with our Family Support Classes and Adult BRAVE ED Support Classes. Stay tuned as we add additional support to our BRAVE Program this fall.  Rebecca will also be seeing Stage 1-4 Kidney Disease Clients as well.
